- Split silks, straddle invert
- Hook one ankle on pole, bring other leg through silks, arch back, pose
- Guide free foot through space between pole of hooked ankle and back, as you loosen your grip of the hand that is now behind back so silk can move with you to give space as you rotate
- With back hand in the small of your back, sit up, pose
- Lean back, crochet original “hooked” foot, rotate body towards that pole while bringing the free foot and leg over the top, rotate body to face the ground, pose
- Place tail in armpit, guide free foot back through silk, retracing steps back to sitting position
- Make a footlock on the free foot with the free silk
- Lean back in straddle-pike, moving both hands to the pole of the footlocked leg, hook toes of crocheted leg over pole, pull up into splits
- Push, pose splits
- Push back into straddle-pike, unhook crocheted foot, stand up, undo footlock
- Hip Key towards used pole, allow free pole to fall behind your body, both tails are now at the bottom
- Grab both tails together with same-side hand, rotate body towards ceiling, let go of hand holding the free pole, pose in a supported back balance
- Key back over, let go of both tails (while still holding pole with top hand), regrab opposite pole, allow tails to fall off
