Rollie Pollie

  • Split silks, straddle invert, hook one knee on one silk and wrap bottom leg with tail
  • Grab tail and other pole together at hip, lower both legs into supported back balance, pose
  • Cross free hand over body to grab free pole mid-height, loosen grip with other hand as you roll towards ground until belly is facing ground
  • Lift free leg up and over to other side of pole
  • Use both poles to lift body to upright position, one leg on either side of pole, similar to Dolphin Climb movement. Bring hand that has tail of the pole in use between pole and thigh, bringing along a handful of silk, synch, pose
  • Roll backwards, freeing synched silk, keeping that elbow close to body
  • Straighten free leg, bring through silk in giant circle, twice. On second circle, bring hand that was synched at the top through with another handful of silk to synch again
  • Other hand that’s on the free pole will have a bit of torque on shoulder as you pass through the two circles, allow movement of shoulder as needed
  • Pose, you can let go of the synched silk
  • Grab top, tight pole, reverse half rotation to bring leg out and unsynch silk
