Basic S-Wrap

  • Straddle-invert, hook same-side knee
  • Bring silk behind back, in front of the open leg and around the leg (wrapping free leg), drop tail
  • Place both hands on the pole below the hooked knee (match free hand to hand that’s already there), roll towards the pole, unhook knee, and pike over
  • Drop the tails from between the leg and roll back to the pole, rehooking original knee
  • Depending on what skill you will be performing, the tails will come back in front, completing the S-Wrap, OR they will go in back for more wrapping
