Tick Tock

  • Split silks, straddle-invert, crochet both legs, cross silks behind back
  • Place silks over shoulders and sit up
  • Take one silk off shoulder, bring around the pole, over the leg and let go so silk is hanging down between legs, repeat for other silk and leg
  • Straddle back, crochet legs (or bend them in the middle of the poles), and sit up
    • Option 1: In straddle-seated position, let go of poles, guide hands through the middle of the poles and grab the tails from between the legs
      • Push body forward through poles and fall forwards
    • Option 2: Grab poles high, guide head, shoulders and chest through the silks, arch and pose
      • Let go of poles and grab tails between legs as you fall
  • Keep your straddle, until your legs pass the poles, once they are past the poles, legs together, hands with tails will meet up with the poles
  • Fall backwards, legs will pass through the center of the poles
  • Bring tails in a “swimmer’s fly” motion to be in above head, arch and pose
  • Drop tails and squeeze legs tight, sit up (place tails over shoulders for more security as needed, removing them once you sit up), pike through the middle of the poles, split knee climb up, shake silks off
