- Get into Belay (any style)
- Split tails, legs through and straddle-invert
- Legs through the poles, sit up between the tails, leaving tails behind
- Straddle wide, tails are behind legs, dive forward to catch tails, give slack to allow room, pose with loops around knees
- Look for the shorter tail. As you take your knee out of the loop made by the shorter tail, remove the tail from between poles, stag and pose
- Grasp each hand high on each pole, tuck up and hook knees on the pole that corresponds with the knee that is still hooked in a loop
- Pull up to sitting position, make sure poles are not crossed, pull up again and shake silks off
