Wrist Lock Drop

  • With silks between legs, straddle-invert, bring legs together and through the poles
  • Inside-to-outside, hook knees on poles and sit up while over-straddling and over-tipping body to get wraps high up in the thigh area
  • Bring upper body through the poles
  • Create wrist lock on one side (pick tail up with one hand and make a “shelf”, place other wrist on top of the shelf, bring tail around wrist one full time, grab above the lock with thumbs towards body)
  • Grab free pole with free hand, at matching positions of the locked wrist
  • Lean forward and bring legs through poles
  • You can either knee-drop into pike and then open up to hanging, or keep legs straight and skip the pike or somewhere in between
