- Make your silk knot high enough off the ground so that when you hang by your knees with your arms hanging towards the floor, your hands do not hit the mat
- Get safely into your knot. One way: separate poles and pull over onto knot, pull up on one pole and bring one hand over to the other pole so that you are in a seated position on top of the knot
- Extend legs towards the floor and allow the knot to position right above your bottom
- Push on poles and straddle back, crochet both legs, and sit up
- Cross poles in front of body and pull over as you would in a knot pull over
- In this drop, you do not hold onto anything
- Arms out to the side or above the head, push pelvis forward
- Bend both knees
- Push pelvis forward while driving heels towards your bottom and drop
- To exit, straddle legs and bring hands to the poles, push on both as you lever your body to a full upright position to the ground (if you are higher than the ground, grab poles and pull body into a seated position, lower down to ground
