- With silks together, grip poles, and place silks to one side of the body
- Straddle invert, bend and hook the knee (same-side leg of the silk side)
- Release the hand that is opposite the bent knee and re-grab poles above bent knee, then match the other hand
- Pull up, straighten legs, key over towards pole (you are now in a Hip Hitch)
- Bring tails over body (belly to back), release silk from legs
- Repeat (this climb will repeat on same side the entire way up
