- Separate silks and create equal footlocks or egg beater legs 3 times
- Rotate body to face one pole (of the leg you want in front when you split), place both hands on front pole a little higher than head height
- Pull up on pole, rotate body and front leg towards the pinkie of the front foot, in effect “rolling up” the back foot more
- Bring front ankle to match the back ankle, bend knees, pull up, Flamenco hand (opposite of the foot that was originally in front)
- Keep pulling up to bring silk to back, Flamenco’d hand has rotated into comfortable position, release other hand, stretch body out, pose
- Bring free hand between pole and body, ducking head and shoulders to pass through as well, pole should now be in armpit, grab free pole with free hand, straddle straight-legs towards floor, place “X” on lower back
- To exit, grab the pole that is closest to your back, release the other pole, allowing silk to pop off the shoulder, regrab poles for comfort, undo footlocks or eggbeaters
