Pancake Flip

  • Separate silks and create Dancer’s Locks
  • Slowly squat down in the silks, knees on the outsides of the poles
  • Release poles, guide hands under the knees (from the outside), and regrab poles under the knees, thumbs on top towards leg/ceiling
  • Kick off Dancer’s locks, straddle, pose
  • Bend knees, guiding feet, from front to back, between the tails, then out and around tails, back to straddle (tails now drape over the leg)
  • Bend knees, forward rotate, loosen grip as you flip to allow a little extra silk to go around legs, release tails, pose
  • To Exit: Big situp, grab poles, pull up, shake silks off
