Moon Archer

  • Hip Key on silks, separate poles, bring top knee through middle of poles (or split poles, hip key as you place top knee through middle of poles)
  • Pull up on both poles, point feet towards ground, cross ankles if desired
  • Remove same-side hand as the leg that went through the middle of the poles, and push opposite-side hand strong on the pole, and straight to the side
  • To exit: Lean body out of middle of poles (back out the way you came in, on the side of the tails), and towards the pole you are holding, bring both hands to this pole
  • Lift top leg out through middle of poles, return to hip key
  • Both hands on poles which are now together, straighten upper body, shake off silks
