Revolving Door

  • With silks together, straddle invert, hook opposite knee, bring silks around the back, and over the free leg front to back, inside to outside
  • Place tails over shoulder (opposite the hooked knee), sit up, and grab pole above bent knee
  • Pull up while straightening hooked knee towards floor and bringing body in front of the pole to where the pole rests along the back (rotate grips as needed)
  • Take tails off shoulder with same-side hand and hold
  • Release top hand from pole, dive forward, keep body tight, and catch pole after full rotation
  • To exit: Hook knee that is not on the side of the tails, and unwrap tails from free leg
  • Switch which leg is hooked on the pole, grab under the knee, unhook knee, sit up, drop tails
  • OR
  • Keep leg hooked, place same-side hand as hooked knee on tails, place opposite-side hand under hooked knee, unhook knee, and lower body slowly (you can go into back balance, snake wrap, and more)
