- Hip Key, wrap tails around body belly to back (over the top), hold both poles, sit upright, swing what was the top leg in the Hip Key down, allowing tails to fall off leg and between legs, bring leg back into pike, key back into Hip Key position
- Keeping tails behind body, move to leg to other side of pole, hooking what was the bottom leg onto the poles
- Bring tails to front of shoulder, opposite side of knee that is hooked, place in armpit (hold if desired)
- Release hooked knee and immediately re-hook onto the pole (this is a Ginger)
- Keeping tails in armpit, sit up, grab pole above hooked knee, pull up and rotate body to be in front of the poles, pointing feet towards floor
- Take tails into same-side hand and hold, prep for dive with strong tight body, release hand from poles, dive forward, and catch poles when full rotation is complete
- To exit: Hook knee that is not on the side of the tails, and unwrap tails from free leg
- Switch which leg is hooked on the pole, grab under the knee, unhook knee, sit up, drop tails
- OR
- Keep leg hooked, place same-side hand as hooked knee on tails, place opposite-side hand under hooked knee, unhook knee, and lower body slowly (you can go into back balance, snake wrap, and more)
