- Hip Key
- Bring tails around bottom leg (outside, to top of leg, to between legs), wrap leg 3-4x
- Split poles, dive bottom arm through middle of poles
- The pole on the side of the wrapped leg will go behind your back and end up on the other side of your body than it started on when bringing chest through poles
- One hand on each pole
- Straddle back, hook leg that does not have the wraps on it (this leg is less bulky to bend over the poles, plus, it helps keep the wrapped leg from losing any wraps)
- Pull to sit up in front of poles
- Let go of poles, keep strong arms straight out to side as you drop, ending in “T” position
- To exit, reach high on poles, lift a little, allow silks to fall off legs
