- Bring one knee up to create 90 degree angle
- Guide silk over the top of the elevated foot, outside to inside (may be easier if foot is flexed, creating a shelf to hold the silk)
- Bring silk under the arch of the foot, inside to outside
- Point foot directly to the floor, bringing knee to the outside of the pole (you may find sickling the foot a little to help the lock feel secure, but be careful if it’s uncomfortable)
- Place weight onto pointed foot, repeat process on other side
