Z-Line Splits X 2

  • With silks together, invert and hook opposite knee, sit up, reach behind with same-side hand as hooked knee, grab tails, and bring them in front of the belly
  • Bring free leg in front, wrap tails over arch of foot, inside to outside, unhook knee from poles and lever leg behind, find balance, pose
  • To exit (one way of many), rehook the back-levered leg, pass tail to same-side hand as rehooked leg, reach for pole under hooked knee with free hand, unhook knee, control leg descent

Bonus Pose

  • From the Z-Line Split, grab the pole with the free hand, while holding onto the tails with the other hand, guide front leg (foot in silk loop) to the poles, place inside of foot against poles, find balance, pose
  • With free hand, grab shin of the bottom leg to accentuate splits (not shown in video)
  • To exit, same as Z-Line Split, or another way, hook front leg into same-side knee hook, bring tails over body, grab pole under hooked knee, lower legs in control
